Biography
Dr. Austin Chinn is a board-certified podiatric surgeon trained in all aspects of footand ankle medicine and surgery. He has expertise in sports medicine, trauma, nerveprocedures, ankle replacement, reconstructive surgery, and diabetic limb salvage andwound care. He specializes in both nonsurgical and surgical care for patients withactive lifestyles, and he is dedicated to keeping each patient performing at their best.
A graduate of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Chinn earned his Doctorof Podiatric Medicine degree at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine inNorth Chicago. After completing his medical degree, he went on to train in podiatricmedicine and surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery through hisresidency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
Bourbonnais is Dr. Chinn’s hometown, and in his free time, he enjoys watching andattending local, college, and professional sports. Dr. Chinn also stays active andspends time running and playing golf.
