Biography
Dr. Rajeev Puri is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hip, knee, foot, and ankle surgeon. His area of expertise is in the comprehensive care of the lower extremity. As an advanced specialist, he performs most of the practice’s hip and knee revisions. He has an interest in challenging cases and uses technology such as computer navigation, robotics, and ‘smart’ implants in order to increase accuracy of the operation and get the best results for faster recoveries and long-lasting solutions.
Dr. Puri completed his undergraduate work at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with an engineering degree. He worked for General Motors for a year before attending The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, where he also interned in general surgery and underwent his orthopedic surgical residency. Dr. Puri later completed two fellowships: the first in foot and ankle reconstruction at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and the second fellowship in hip and knee total joint revision at OrthoIndy and Indianapolis Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Throughout his education and training, Dr. Puri garnered numerous awards and recognition for his outstanding academics, research, and publications. He is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
