William P. Mosenthal, MD

Dr. William Mosenthal is a board certified, fellowship-trained, orthopedic spinesurgeon with extensive training in specialized back, neck, and spine care. He usesrobust, evidence-based treatment plans and procedures and is committed topatient-centered care and the optimization of outcomes for spine-related conditions, injuries,and deformities. His expertise includes computer-navigated, robotic-assisted, andminimally invasive spine surgery, including neural decompression, cervical discreplacement, lumbar and cervical decompression and fusion, and sacroiliac jointfusion. A graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, Dr. Mosenthalearned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Geisel School of Medicine atDartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire. He then completed his orthopedic surgeryresidency at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He went on to receiveadvanced subspecialty training in spine surgery through an exclusive, yearlongfellowship at Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis. 

Dr. Mosenthal has authoreda number of peer-reviewed articles, reviews, book chapters, and abstracts and haspresented his work at national meetings. He is dedicated to helping patients improvetheir pain, function, and quality of life in the least invasive way possible, movingforward with surgery only when all nonsurgical options have been exhausted.
