Biography
Gabrielle received her Bachelor’s Degree of Health Sciences in 2011 from Aurora University in Aurora, IL where she also played Softball all four years. She received her Physical Therapist Assistant Degrees from Fox College in Tinley Park, IL in 2013. She recently joined the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute in 2021 at the Joliet clinic.
She has a passion for outpatient orthopedics and has specialized in lower extremity rehabilitation, specifically total joint replacement, post surgical knee and hip rehabilitation, as well as sports related orthopedic injuries. Gabrielle also has several years of experience with treating a variety of work related injuries, as well as customizing industrial rehabilitation programs to allow patients to safely return to work as well as providing education to prevent future injury. She is also certified in IASTM and a variety of therapeutic taping techniques. Gabrielle’s treatment philosophy is based on individualized patient- centric care focusing on the patient’s personal goals as well as collaborated goals set by PT during their evaluation. Gabrielle believes utilizing a comprehensive and collaborative care model best allows her patient’s to meet their goals of rehabilitation and desired outcomes. She stays up to date on the latest evidence-based practices and continues to expand her skill set by pursuing educational classes in vestibular and post concussive rehabilitation.
When Gabrielle is outside of the clinic she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, mountain biking, hiking and walking with her German Shepard puppy Nova.
