Biography

Julia joined IBJI as a physician assistant in 2023, where she works alongside Dr. Jeffrey Visotsky to provide comprehensive hand and upper extremity orthopedic care. She collaborates closely with Dr. Visotsky to offer services such as office visits and procedures, and assists in surgery. Her specific musculoskeletal and orthopedic interests include arthritis, sports medicine, and gout. 

Julia grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and now lives downtown. She earned her undergraduate biology degree from Tulane University in 2019 and worked as Dr. Visotsky’s medical assistant for several years before returning to school to earn her Master of Medical Science at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is so excited to work again with Dr. Visotsky and the entire IBJI team. In her free time, Julia enjoys spending time with family and friends, trivia nights, pickleball, and running.
