Biography
Justin has been practicing orthopedics since his graduation from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2013 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He currently treats patients out of the Grayslake office and is the regional manager of the North.
He first gained an interest in physical therapy after multiple sports-related orthopedic injuries and surgeries during his years as an athlete. He played football during his time at Trinity International University while earning his undergraduate degree. His background as an athlete and a patient with sports injuries has also given him an appreciation for the injured athlete. As a member of the sports medicine special interest group at IBJI, he teamed up with therapists and athletic trainers to develop a physical therapy ACL protocol and a return to play test for IBJI.
Justin is also a certified functional capacity evaluation (FCE) tester. He has also developed experience dealing in workers compensation issues in Illinois and works as one of the work conditioning therapists.
Justin enjoys treating a wide variety of patients with various diagnoses, including joint replacements, sprains and strains, as well as athletes of all types. He is a strong believer in the physical therapy department at IBJI because of the accessibility to the physicians and the collaborative treatment between therapists in order to ensure patients' optimal recovery. Outside of the clinic, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and five kids, especially in the outdoors.
