Biography

Maria is a graduate of Marquette University where she earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2024. She discovered her interest in OT during her second year of undergraduate school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Maria believes in a person-centered approach while also heavily relying on evidence-based practice and therapeutic-use-of-self. Hand therapy has always been a passion of hers, and she enjoys splint-making. 

Outside of the clinic, Maria enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing guitar, and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers.
