Biography

Melissa has been practicing physical therapy since 1999 and has been with Illinois Bone & Joint Institute since 2003.

She believes that being part of a collaborative and communicative work environment provides her patients the most effective care, leading to the most optimal outcomes. Melissa specializes in treating a variety of orthopedic diagnoses, including sports-related, overuse/disuse, and post-surgical. She integrates research-based manual therapy techniques with therapeutic exercise programs for her patients to achieve the best results for return to prior activity level and function.

Outside of the clinic, Melissa enjoys cheering on Chicago sports teams, spending time with family and friends, taking her dog on long walks, and binge-watching shows on Netflix.
