Biography

Natalie has been working as a nurse practitioner in orthopedic surgery since 2017. She joined IBJI in 2024, working alongside Dr. Brian Schwartz. Natalie enjoys supporting patients through the entire surgical process, from pre-surgery to post-surgery, with a special focus on hip and knee replacement procedures, ensuring patients achieve their recovery goals. She is committed to improving patients’ quality of life through nonsurgical and surgical orthopedic interventions. 

Natalie is an adult - gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She graduated from Marquette University’s Direct Entry program, consisting of an accelerated and specialized nursing curriculum in which she became a registered nurse, and continued to earn her Master of Science in nursing degree with specialization in adult - older adult acute care. Natalie is dedicated to surgical excellence and holds certification as a registered nurse first assistant, allowing her to play a vital role in surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of her patients. Prior to embarking on her nursing career, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in liberal arts and sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 

Natalie lives in Libertyville with her husband and two children, and she enjoys country music.
