Biography

Noelle is a board-certified nurse practitioner licensed to practice and prescribe medicine in the state of Illinois. She has eight years of experience in the orthopedic field, including vast experience with orthopedic trauma, general orthopedics, geriatric orthopedics, osteoporosis, and total joint arthroplasty. Noelle acts as Dr. Evan Dougherty’s first assistant in the operating room and completes inpatient rounds. She supports pre- and post-operative management, conducts inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care and procedures. She provides direct patient care in Dr. Dougherty’s clinics, including the Hinsdale and Western Springs offices. 

Noelle received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. She went on to receive her Master of Science in nursing from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, graduating with honors in 2018. 

Prior to completion of her nurse practitioner degree, Noelle worked as an orthopedic trauma nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois. She has completed both the orthopaedic nurses certification and trauma nurse core course allowing her to manage complex orthopedic injuries.
