Biography
Stacey joined Illinois Bone & Joint Institute in 2010 working in the Gurnee clinic treating orthopedic injuries. She enjoys working with the diverse staff who work collectively to treat a variety of patients in order to return them back to their functional goals. She believes in integrating patient education to her treatment approach in order to help patients understand their injury, recovery, and rehabilitation process in order to prevent further injury and promote self management of their injuries.
Stacey attended the University of Illinois and received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Sciences in 2007. She practiced physical therapy while living in California for 3 years where she gained interest in running and sports related injuries. Since then her special clinical interest is in foot and ankle treatment, as well as gait evaluation and treatment for both the athletic and non athletic population. She is part of the Gurnee staff which is trained in assessing and fabricating over the counter orthotics, which are available in the Gurnee office. She also has a special interest in treating pediatric orthopedic injuries.
