Biography

Vanessa joined the IBJI team in 2021 as a board certified family nurse practitioner. As an integral part of Dr. Angela Crowley's team, Vanessa provides valuable services including office visits, telehealth visits and in-office procedures including joint injections. Dr. Crowley and Vanessa work together to offer you comprehensive care. Conditions treated include but are not limited to, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, osteoporosis, vasculitis and polymyalgia rheumatica. Vanessa earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rush University. She previously worked as a bedside nurse in the surgical ICU and served as a clinical instructor at Rush University Medical Center. Vanessa lives in the western suburbs with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and working out.
