Biography

Vanessa graduated from Rosalind Franklin University with her doctorate in Physical Therapy and joined the IBJI Gurnee Team in August of 2018. Vanessa enjoys outpatient therapy due to the wide variety of diagnoses and age ranges she can treat. She aims to understand her patient’s motivations and lifestyles in order to provide the best treatment, exercise, and guidance individualized for her patients’ needs.  

Originally from California, Vanessa has lived all over the country and in South America before ending up in the Midwest. She is fluent in Spanish and has provided interpretation services for the Rosalind Franklin University Interprofessional Community Clinic, as well as for her patients here at IBJI. Vanessa has an extensive background in dance and Pilates and strives to incorporate those principles in her treatment whenever possible.
