Biography

Zainab Illo is a dedicated athletic trainer who recently relocated to Chicago from Iowa. She earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) from the University of Iowa in 2023, where she gained hands-on experience working with a diverse range of teams and organizations, including Division I and III athletics, NAIA programs, high schools, sports medicine clinics, and a concussion clinic. Before moving to Chicago, Zainab served as a physician extender, working closely with orthopedic surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care. She is passionate about the dynamic nature of athletic training, the opportunity to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to help individuals return to both their athletic pursuits and daily activities.
