Total Hip replacement (Nov. 2017). It has now been 6 months since my total hip replacement surgery. I couldn't say enough about the superb work that Dr. Jimenez and his staff has done. From the pre-operation visits, where the procedure(s) were clearly explained, to the one hour surgery (+) and one day in the hospital, and now the six month post-operative exam, everything was done with the utmost professionalism, and surgical skills. Anyone considering having orthopedic surgery (hip replacement) would be very wise to consult with Dr. Jimenez and his team both at the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute and at Lutheran General Hospital. His skills will shorten the recovery time and you will be walking in a few weeks. In conclusion, the thing that you will also think after Dr. Jimenez has performed surgery is: "Why did I wait so long to have the surgery?"
